We are looking for an experienced Accountant to work at our Dereham offices.

Reporting to the Financial Director, duties to include but not limited to:

  • Import and export data to and from Sage Line 50 accounts using data queries VLookup etc.
  • Monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll.
  • Administering auto enrolment and compliance.
  • Preparation of VAT returns – knowledge of specialist schemes an advantage in particular the Tour Operators Margin Scheme.
  • Reconciliation of all accounts including foreign currency accounts.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, KPI’s and general statistics relevant to the company.
  • Keeping company records and statutory books up to date.
  • Preparation and submission of yearly tax returns.

Knowledge of e-commerce would be an advantage.

Competent user of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
Advanced excel is a must to analyse and report on large amounts of date.

A working knowledge of FX and currency buying would be useful. 
IT skills would be an advantage.
Some administration and HR tasks will also be part of the job.

Hours: 40

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contact Centre Manager/Team leader to drive and develop our dedicated team of Customer Advisors.

You will be responsible for leading our team of Advisors and Customer Relations Executives who represent the company. You will ensure provision of first class customer service to our rental clients and external agencies at every time of contact.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the daily running of a small but very efficient contact centre.
  • Overseeing our automated reservations system.
  • Liaising with our Supplier team, International suppliers and Insurance providers to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Liaising with the Directors of the company.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the product and industry developments and ensuring that your team are aware and maintain their knowledge. 
  • Monitoring calls and emails to improve quality, minimise errors and track operative performance.
  • Reviewing the performance of staff, conducting one to ones and appraisals and identifying training needs and planning training sessions.
  • Recording statistics, user rates and the performance levels of the centre and preparing reports.
  • Heading our Post-rental department, handling the most complex customer complaints or enquiries and ensuring all complaints are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Organising staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand.
  • Coaching and motivating the team and staff retention.
  • Improving performance by raising efficiency.
  • Coordinating staff recruitment, including writing vacancy advertisements and liaising with Human Resource staff.
  • Coordinating our out of hours emergency customer help line.
