Car hire shortage will continue
The low availability of car hire caused by the economic slow down and credit squeeze affecting car hire companies in Spain and its islands will continue throughout the entire Summer season. Cars have almost sold out in July and August and the same is expected for September so if you need a car, you must book now!

Jargon Buster - What is CDW?
CDW or Collision Damage Waiver is included in most car rental prices, however, this only reduces the full cost of the damage down to a reasonable excess amount which could still be as much as 1000 Euros. We are the only car hire company who provide Full Collision Damage Waiver with no insurance excess at all locations, so there is never anything to pay in the event of collision damage or theft.
Ryanair passengers or baggage handlers?
Ryanair has announced plans to introduce a system whereby passengers will carry their own luggage to the aircraft steps. Ryanair Chief, Michael O'Leary has said that this will improve the flying experience for passengers because there will be less time spent at the carousel, less lost luggage and less time spent in airport terminals. However, this is another cost-cutting move by the airline and fliers will now have to carry their bags all the way through the security departure lounges, which could cause queues at security and delays for passengers of other airlines.
