Two of our independent car hire companies in Spain have merged. Auriga Rent a Car and Crown Car Hire have always worked together very closely, now they have merged to make what is now the largest independent car rental company in Spain. What makes this merger a success is that both companies operate at different locations. We expect to see the new merged company expand to new destinations in the near future.

Your questions answered...

Why do you ask for our flight number?
When you provide an incoming flight number, our car hire supplier will know exactly when you are due to arrive, which means the vehicle will still be waiting for you if your flight is delayed.

Do you supply child seats?
Yes, we can always supply child seats but we recommend that you bring your own. If you do decide to hire a child seat please check the seat  on collection and make sure it is in good condition. If you are not happy with the seat, please say so at the time and a replacement will be provided.

Is there someone I can call if I have a problem while I am on holiday?
If you experience any problems with your car hire which you are not able to resolve with the car hire company, do not hesitate to Contact Us and we will do everything we can to help.

There are unexpected charges on my credit card, what are these for?
Sometimes people can receive charges on their  credit card statement, in most cases there is a good explanation for this, charges can be made following a speeding fine or parking ticket.  Sometimes when our suppliers take a deposit for fuel it shows on your statement, but by the time your next statement comes through the charge has usually been re-credited. Occasionally  genuine mistakes can be made. If you are unsure of a transaction relating to your car hire please do not hesitate to contact us.

ECH Tip of the Month
If you have to return the car with a full tank of fuel, make sure you fill the tank to the brim on your way back to the airport. Using a digital camera or camera phone record the level on the fuel gauge when you return the vehicle, this prevents any dispute about how much fuel was left in the vehicle.
