At a junction, if the road goes straight ahead, vehicles on the right of your vehicle have right of way. -
Away from built up areas, the horn should be used to indicate that a vehicle intends to pass.
During winter months in snow affected areas, fitted snow chains are obligatory.
It is illegal to use both a hand-held mobile phone and a hands-free device when driving. On the spot fines can be issued by the police and an official receipt should always be obtained. Seat belts must be worn by front and rear seated passengers. Children under 12 must not sit in the front seat.
