Agadir

The city of Agadir is situated in the south-western part of Morocco. It is an ideal destination for sun-worshippers, with fine sand and sunshine 300 days a year. As a result of an earthquake in 1960, the area had to be re-built and is now a thriving, modern, tourist town. Popular attractions include the Suk Market, the Folk Art Museum, the Valley of the Birds and Agadir fishing Port. There are three main areas for eating in Agadir: New Talbourjt, next to the beach or around the Uniprex.
