Ski resorts in Montenegro

Zabljak

Zabljak is the highest ski resort in Montenegro and can be found 135km north of the capital in the Durmitor National Park. This area boasts 120 days of snow per year so you will find perfect skiing conditions during the winter months. There are 12 ski lifts in operation at the resort and three separate ski areas to choose from. These include Savin Kuk, Stuoz and Javorovaca each of which more suited for different abilities with a total of 22 groomed slopes in addition to a large free ski area.

Kolasin

Boasting a number of trails suitable for all abilities and 5 different ski lifts with the capacity to transport 6,300 skiers in total per hour, Kolasin ski resort is certainly popular. It sits at an elevation of 4, 757f. Beginners can enrol at the ski school whilst more experienced skiers are able to hire their required equipment and hit the slopes straight away.

Lokve

The skiing available at Lokve ski resort is suitable for a range of abilities and you will find 8 individual pistes here, served by 4 ski lifts in total. Snow cover can be variable as the resort is at a relatively low altitude in comparison to other resorts in the country but you will always certainly be sure to find the snow to be sufficient during the winter months. The lifts have the capacity to transport 3,400 skiers and snowboarders per hour.
