Anyksciai Kalita resort proves especially popular with tourists and is located in North West Lithuania. Although not huge, the resort is set in beautiful surroundings and is flanked by spas, lakes and with many other recreation activities on offer too. Skiing equipment is available for rent and there is also a popular toboggan track.

Birstonas is becoming increasingly established as a ski resort in Lithuania and is found just south of Kaunas. Conditions here tend to be optimum thanks to a thick layer of snow during the winter months. There is a ski lift in operation with the capacity to transport around 700 passengers an hour. There are routes suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike and ski equipment is available for rent.

Located in the west of the country you will find the ski resort of Ignalina next to Siekstis Lake. Snowfall appears in Ignalina early and the snow level remains high for a quite a period of time, sometimes for the longest when compared to other resorts. The resort hosts several winter sports competitions as a result. There are four ski runs here as well as a separate run dedicate to children and beginners. Ski equipment is available for rent and if some members of the party don’t fancy hitting the slopes, there are hotels and a sauna nearby.
