If you are a nature lover, there are a variety of things to see and enjoy; the Gulf of Riga, the open Baltic Sea, nature parks, fast rivers, lakes and beautiful forests on the shores. There are also lots of historical things to enjoy including medieval castles dotted around the country. Old Riga has some architectural monuments which attract many visitors.
