Spend your holiday in either Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera
The beautiful Balearic Islands are some of the most popular holiday destinations across the whole of Europe and it's no surprise with the fantastic climate and gorgeous sandy beaches. Car hire in the Balearic Islands allows you to make the most of your holiday here.
Consisting of the islands of Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera, the Balearics offer something for everyone.
We work with a number of different car hire suppliers in this area, some of which operate with a desk in the airport and a fair fuel policy, others of which require you to hop on a shuttle bus to the supplier’s depot to collect the vehicle.
Where a fair fuel policy is not available, simply click on the show rental conditions link displayed underneath each vehicle on the quote results page and locate the heading Fuel Policy. Here you will find an estimate of the cost of a tank of fuel. If a fair fuel policy is available, this will be clearly marked.
The above information is in addition to our offering of full collision damage and theft protection with no insurance excess or built-in excess insurance, a free additional driver and compulsory airport taxes being included in the price.
Mallorca, also spelt Majorca is the most popular of the Balearic Islands. The city of Palma is filled with historical sites such as the Cathedral and Bellver Castle, so a day spent here is worthwhile. Packed full of markets, where ever you stay on the island, you’ll be sure to pick up a bargain or two a well. Pick up a hire car whilst in the Balearic Islands and travel around the variety of beaches and coves and soak up the sunshine.

More compact than its neighbour of Mallorca, Menorca is perfect for those seeking a tranquil getaway. Teeming with history, Naveta des Tudons which is close to Ciutadella is great for a day out, along with a visit to see the Talayots and Taules. Filled with beaches and lots of stunning scenery, this idyllic island is great for a relaxing break.

Many will be familiar with this party island and should this not appeal to you, you may be put off holidaying here at all. Despite this, there is a lot more to Ibiza than the clubs, although should this be the key attraction for you, Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio will suit best. Otherwise, stumble upon wonders such as Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town, Sant Josep found up in the mountains or Santa Eulalia and you will come away surprised!
Airport: Ibiza Airport
Close to Ibiza, in order to get here you will need to fly into Ibiza Airport, then head to the harbour in Ibiza Town and catch a ferry. This only adds to the appeal of Formentera. Packed with wondrous white sandy beaches across the island, there are plenty of opportunities to relax. Both the port of La Savina, which is bustling and the resort of Es Pujols are fabulous places to spend your trip.
