The 2012 Olympics are fast approaching and whilst they will be an incredible two weeks, a time for patriotism and awesome sports, this huge event will surely swamp the capital as thousands of visitors swarm the city. What it does mean however, is that the Olympics will present the perfect opportunity to escape the crowds, get out and explore other areas of the fantastic United Kingdom; a country as varied as you like with something to offer everyone.
