French Air Traffic Controllers Set to Strike

Europe is braced for strike action after an announcement that French air traffic controllers are set to strike. The three day strike is due to start today, Tuesday 11th June, with walk outs expected to take place tomorrow, Wednesday 12th June 2013. The strike comes following EU plans to form a single European airspace, called the Single European Sky project (SES). The workers are protesting that the project will negatively affect their working conditions as well as public safety.
