Blackpool Airport to close

Blackpool Airport is due to close on Wednesday 15th October 2014 following its last commercial flight. The airport has failed to make a profit for its owners, Balfour Beatty and the site has been for sale for some months. The local council has blamed the combination of a lack of new routes and a contract with Jet2 as the contributing factors to failure of the airport.

*Prices are based on a 7 day rental starting 28/10/2014.
